Very good combination of the treble clef and the "L". Maybe using a different gradient, or a reversed gradient on each letter would help distinguish the two. Looks really cool.
The shadow of clef takes away from simplicity of the logo. Maybe combining the clef and the letters together, using the colors to divide the two objects.

The shadow being a different shape than the object is a really great idea. It is a little hard to make out the letters, though.
